The Dutch striker complained about being benched by coach Vitor Pereira, during the team's match against Bursaspor last weekend.

Even though he recently arrived to the Turkish side this summer, Robin Van Persie is already getting in trouble with his new club.

Just after this weekend's game ended, Robin Van Persie shared his unhappiness after being kept on the bench for most of the game. Nevertheless, RVP managed to score the game winning goal for the yellow-and-blue side, netting his second goal with the Turks since his arrival

During an interview with Lig TV, the Dutch striker voiced his thoughts about starting the game on the bench.

"To be honest, I am not very happy at this moment. I was not happy that I started on the bench. I am fully fit, physically very well and able to play for 90 minutes. The only right answer I could give was with what I did: helping the team to get the victory,"Van Persie revealed.

But despite the player's claims for a place in the starting lineup, coach Vitor Pereira seems to be at ease with his decision, and chose not to enter into an argument with the former Arsenal and Man United forward.

"The players can like or not like what I do, but I must take decisions. I am happy with Van Persie’s performance after being brought on to the pitch. It would be bad if he wasn’t unhappy about being a substitute, this proves that he wants to play," Pereira answered.

Fenerbahce will face a tough match next weekend, when Pereira's side battles against Besiktas.
