Liverpool have failed to record a victory in any of their last four matches in all competitions and will be looking to bounce back against a side they have performed well against. The Reds are undefeated against their opponents on Sunday in the last ten Premier League meetings.

In what should leave Liverpool fans in a buoyant mood, Daniel Sturridge has been making massive progress and is expected to feature in the first team soon enough. The 26 year old was restricted to just 12 League appearances last season but Brendan Rodgers is confident that he can have a positive impact.

"He [Sturridge] has been really positive in terms of the training, in terms of his work off the field," Rodgers said.

"He's come back with a real hunger to succeed, which is great.

"He's looked really powerful and fast, and his quality is there to see.

"Some of the staff who have come in had heard me talk about him, and they've seen from his very first session that we're talking about a different level of player.

"And when you have that standard of player available, it can lift you to a new dimension."
The Northern Irishman has stressed on the inability of his team to convert chances and this is where Sturridge could have a positive impact.

"Of the last 19 games, in 17 of them we have scored only one goal. When you look at that cold fact it tells you we have to be better with our creativity and part of that is having the bravery to take people on, to take a risk and make individual actions that might not come off but has us in an aggressive mindset."

Norwich on the other hand scored a morale boosting 3-1 win over Bournemouth last time out and will be hoping to pull off an upset at the expense of Liverpool. They will however have to do the job without striker Gary Hooper and midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu who have been ruled out of the game.

Liverpool on the other hand have doubts over the fitness of Kolo Toure who had a heavy collision with goalkeeper Simon Mignolet during the match against Bordeaux.
