Angel Di Maria spared no praise for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, comparing him to the world's finest footballers. According to the Argentinean wingman, the tall Swedish striker should be considered one of the best players around, given his skills and leadership with both Les Parisiens and his National Team.
"As you know, I have had the chance to play with Leo, Cristiano and Rooney, but now Ibra. Frankly, I am impressed by the quality of his technique and his movement. He's on the same level as Leo and CR7," Di Maria stated.
The Argentinean wingman, who recently arrived to the team, has only shared the pitch with Zlatan in one game, since the Swede hasn't fully recovered from an injury he picked up during pre-season.
The former Man United player also shared his thoughts about the team's chances in this year's UEFA Champions League, following a disappointing end to last season.
"We have many good players, we have a lot of ambition and I have come to help this team, like others before me, win this competition. It's possible for us to win our group, too, but it will be complicated," the South American player added.
Finally, he spoke ahead of his return to Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, where he will be facing Real Madrid.
"There is no miracle recipe for beating Madrid either. One of the important things is not to make any mistakes because, let's face it, they are a team of very talented players with lots of experience," he concluded.
