Dortmund will be hoping to stretch their perfect start to the season to four matches when they face Hannover in an away fixture. BVB are currently top of the table, leading rivals Bayern Munich on goal difference only.
They have strengthened their attack with the loan signing of Belgian international Adnan Januzaj who struck twice in a benefit match against St Pauli and will now be hoping to make his competitive debut for the club.
Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel has been delighted with the Manchester United loanee so far and has been impressed in particular with his dribbling abilities.
"Adnan only trained with the team once, and also had minor problems with his thigh last week, but in spite of that he has hinted at his potential, and was strong in his dribbling," Tuchel said.
Tuchel also hinted that the Belgian international could feature against Hannover claiming that "Everything's possible."
Dortmund will however not be able to make use of the services of defender Erik Durm who has been ruled out for six weeks with a knee injury. A bigger blow to their chances against Hannover will be uncertainties over the likes of Marco Reus and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who are doubtful for the match on Saturday.
Dortmund's injury concerns do not end here with Polish international Lukasz Piszczek and Turkish midfielder Nuri Sahin also doubtful.
Hannover will be looking to take advantages of the aforementioned injuries having started the season in disappointing fashion. They have managed just a single point from their first three games which came in a 2-2 draw against newly promoted side Darmstadt.
Michael Frontzeck who took over the managerial post in April last season ensured survival for the club last season but has failed to create much of an impression this time around. Hannover however can take inspiration from their visit to Dortmund last season when a solitary goal from Kiyotake won them the match.
