U.S. Men’s National Team; Neymar and Brazil; Messi and Argentina; Mexican National Team; UEFA EURO 2016 Qualifiers; and more

ESPN networks will carry 31 live matches, including 26 UEFA European Football Championship 2016 qualifying contests, during the upcoming FIFA international match dates, Thursday, Sept. 3, through Tuesday, Sept. 8. The schedule will culminate with a tripleheader on ESPN2 on Tuesday – England vs. Switzerland (2:30 p.m., also on ESPN Deportes); the U.S. Men’s National Team vs. five-time FIFA World Cup champions Brazil, led by Neymar (8:15 p.m.); and Mexican National Team vs. Lionel Messi and 2014 FIFA World Cup finalist Argentina (10:30 p.m.).

ESPN’s coverage of USA vs. Brazil – U.S. Men’s National Team Soccer Presented by AT&T – will begin at 8:15 p.m. ET with a 30-minute pre-game show featuring host Bob Ley, analyst Kasey Keller and ESPN Brazil’s Rubens Pozzi, live from Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. Lead play-by-play commentator Ian Darke, analyst Taylor Twellman and sideline reporter Mónica González will call the match.

Before USA-Brazil, U.S. Men’s National Team manager Jurgen Klinsmann, will sit for a one-on-one interview with Twellman. Excerpts from this exclusive one-on-one TV interview will be featured across ESPN’s news and information platforms – SportsCenter, ESPN FC TV and www.espnfc.com, the company’s leading digital hub for soccer.

Highlights:

·         ESPN2’s telecast of Mexican National Team Soccer Presented by AT&T – Mexico vs. Argentina will feature play-by-play commentator Fernando Palomo, analyst Alejandro Moreno and reporter John Sutcliffe, live (ESPN2, 10:30 p.m.) from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas;

·         Adrian Healey (play-by-play) and analyst Stewart Robson will call the England-Switzerland EURO 2016 qualifying match on ESPN2, while Jorge Ramos and Hernan Pereyra will describe the action on ESPN Deportes;

·         During FIFA match week, ESPN FC (ESPNEWS, 6 p.m. weekdays / ESPN2, 12 a.m. Sunday) will air extensive highlights from the day’s EURO 2016 qualifying matches. On Tuesday, the program will include live pre-game reports from USA-Brazil;

·         Destino Francia, ESPN Deportes’ primary UEFA EURO 2016 studio program, will air pregame editions leading into all live EURO 2016 qualifying matches during the FIFA international match week – Sept. 3-8;

·         ESPN FC will stream the match live. Reporters Jeff Carlisle and Doug McIntyre will continue their week-long coverage of the U.S. Men’s National Team, including a live web chat on Tuesday.
