Fans demand Rodgers to step down

#RodgersOut: Fans claim for their boss' head as West Ham wins their first EPL game at Anfield

August 29, 2015 By Oscar Rojas
The Reds conceded a couple of goals before the halftime break, giving the Hammers a chance to control the game during the second half.

After all that's been said and done, Brendan Rodgers has been taking all the hits for Liverpool's recent misfortunes. The Reds' coach was harshly criticized by the team's supporters after their 3-0 loss against West Ham at Anfield Road, leading them to ask for his dimission.

An early goal by Manuel Lazarini started things off for the Hammers, while Mark Noble made it 2-0 thanks to some sloppy defending moves by Dejan Lovren. Philippe Coutinho's red card after the break made things harder for the Reds, and even though Mark Noble was also sent off, Liverpool conceded one more goal as time expired, courtesy of Diafra Sakho.

This was West Ham's first victory at Anfield Road since the creation of the Premier League. The Hammers' last victory visiting Liverpool happened back in September of 1963. One of the goals of that match was scored by legendary striker Geoff Hurst. West Ham's supporters asked coach Slaven Bilic to end the team's victory drought against the Reds, and he managed to deliver a good result for them.

Even if West Ham managed to re-write a couple of pages in their record book, fans took it against Rodgers for the loss. Some acknowledge the team can improve, but others don't seem to be so fond of their coach, and they want him out as soon as possible. Here are some of their thoughts.
