Last Sunday, Jill Ellis' team won 8-0 in Pittsburgh. Five of the USWNT players were recently names to the FIFA Women's All-Star team.

The United States Women's National Team is not stepping off the gas pedal as they continue their victory tour against Costa Rica. Both sides met on Sunday in Pittsburgh and the USWNT crushed their opponents 8-0. With the rematch just a few days later, Costa Rica hopes they learned something from the game at Heinz Field.

On Sunday, the star of the game was Christen Press that with a hat-trick contributed with the most amount of goals that day. Heather O'Reilly scored twice, Julie Johnston, Whitney Engen scored once but the most significant goal of the match was by Meghan Klingenberg, who sent a ball to the back of the net in front of over 44,000 fans, mostly from he hometown.

Jill Ellis bragged about her title with a newly renovated contract that will tie her with the team until the 2019 World Cup in France. The USWNT manager even gave her second goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris a chance to shine in the first 45 minutes of the game before Hope Solo took over. Today you can expect something similar to happen.

The scoreboard clearly showed that there was only one team on the field that day at Heinz Field. It showed how accurate the home team was whenever they had a chance to score. It could have been worst for Costa Rica if their goalkeeper Dianna Diaz did not make two key saves in the first half and one more in the second half.

Diaz had nothing to do with most of the goals that the USWNT scored, but it was Costa Rica's defense and midfield that had a very bad day at the office on Sunday. The lack of accuracy that the USWNT had throughout much of the World Cup is gone. They have scored 13 goals in their last two games and only received two.

Alex Morgan is trying to fully recover from an injury she was just cleared off before the World Cup. Her role was limited to being a sub during the tournament and on Sunday she did not participate. Abby Wambach also came in on the second half to provide an assist in one of the goals. Morgan may see some action today.

Costa Rica knows that they are still the underdogs in this game. The team of Las Ticas is ranked 34th in the FIFA World Rankings while the home team just stepped over Germany to claim the top spot. This Wednesday in Chatanooga, Tennesse, the USWNT is likely to add a second win in their ten-game "victory tour".
