The Frenchman scored courtesy of a bicycle kick after the German playmaker picked him out with inch-perfect pass.

It took only 16 minutes for Arsenal duo Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud, two players who came under heavy criticism for the 2-0 loss to West Ham, to silence the haters.

With the Gunners traveling to Selhurst Park to lock horns with Crystal Palace in the 2nd round of the 2015-16 English Premier League season, the two combined well to score the opening goal on Sunday.

After a few missed chances by the north London side, Ozil completed a swift counter attack by dishing out a lovely, inch-perfect flick pass to the French striker, who burried the ball into the back of the net with a bicycle kick.

The strike, Arsenal's first goal of the season, saw Les Blues forward end a 625-minute goal drought in England, whilst it was also Mesut's first assist of the season, one of many that the Gunners faithful will be hoping for.

Of course, the goal by Giroud and assist by Ozil left many on Twitter in amaze. Check out the best tweet.

However, Arsenal's lead did not last long. 12 minutes after the opening goal, the home side equalized thanks to Joel Ward.
