Both clubs have apparently already agreed to let Pedro go after the Uefa Super Cup. Pedro has played all his life with Barcelona.

The Uefa Super Cup could be the last game fans see Pedro wearing the Barcelona jersey as the team faces Sevilla. That would be the case unless the Barca striker listens to what Hristo Stoichkov has to say about his future club, Manchester United. The former player claims that Louis van Gaal is not a great coach as he claims to be.

Both Manchester United and Barcelona have already agreed to let Pedro go to the English club after the game that will be played today. While Pedro expects bigger and better things at Old Trafford, Stoichkov set Manchester's weekend performance as an evidence that LVG's ambition is pretty limited.

"He destroys players because he was so mediocre. Look at the players who have left because of him," Stoichkov said about the Dutch manager.

The Bulgarian legend knows Van Gaal from his time as a player with Los Cules. In the late 1990's Van Gaal was the coach of Stoichkov in the Catalan county. They did not seem to have a great relationship at the time and he does not want Pedro to live a similar experience.

'Players suffer, because as a player he was so mediocre,' Stoichkov added. "I would never leave if I was Pedro because if he goes there he would no longer be a footballer."

It was Van Gaal who sold him in 1998 to end his second spell in Barcelona. These days, Luis Enrique has no say in Pedro's future, and while he would like to keep him in the squad, the manager knows that may not be a possibility.

"I would like to keep all my players through the whole season. But we have talked enough about Pedro. The solution will arrive soon," Lucho claimed in a press conference before the Super Cup game.

Pedro is almost guaranteed some playing time in the game against Sevilla as Neymar has been ruled out for the next two weeks with a disease called Parotitis. This could give Pedro a chance of joining Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in attack for the game in Tbilisi, Georgia.
