The Spanish center back came down with an injury during the Audi Cup final vs Bayern Munich, while the Portuguese striker is struggling with lower back problems.

Two of Real Madrid's leaders on and off the pitch will not be performing this weekend for them. According to the team's website, Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo will not be available for coach Rafa Benitez when Los Blancos face Norwegian team Valerenga this Sunday, leaving the team without two of its most influential players.

Ramos came down with an injury during the Audi Cup final against Bayern Munich. The team's defensive system may struggle a bit, since Pepe is also sidelined after the match against Die Roten. That game against Guardiola's crew handed Benitez his first loss as Real Madrid's manager.

On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo will not be playing against Valerenga after struggling all week with lower back problems. The striker will be joined by Karim Benzema in the team's nursery, weakening Real Madrid's attack for the friendly match.

Benitez's options at the back will be limited, with Raphael Varane and Nacho teaming up as center backs, confirming the French defender's chances of earning a permanent place in the starting lineup. Up front, Benitez will only have Jesé, Lucas Vázquez and newcomer Borja Mayoral available for the warmup game against the Norwegian outfit.
