Real Madrid just won the Australia edition of the ICC. Inter just lost against their city rivals AC Milan 1-0.

Inter Milan will face the International Champions Cup Australia edition on Monday when they face Real Madrid in Guangzhou. This is the first stop for Los Merengues in China and the second one for the Italian side, which just lost to AC Milan by 1-0.

Real Madrid had a shaky start to their pre-season when they lost in penalties against AS Roma. It seems like this year Madrid is really holding a grudge on Italian teams after Juventus knocked them out of the Champions League semi-final.

For now, Rafa Benitez is continuing to learn how to make his team work. The Spanish manager is getting all the pieces of his puzzle together and fine-tuning what needs to be fixed before going back to Spain. He is rejoiced by the fact that Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo have already scored.

Madrid's most controversial position right now is the goalkeeping one. Keylor Navas has been handed number one in the back of his jersey, while the team hired Kiko Casilla but he did not play while the team was in Australia. There are also talks about David de Gea joining the team last minute ahead of the 2015-2015 season.

The game against Inter, a team that ended eighth in the Serie A and that does not feature that many high caliber players, could be a good test for some of Madrid's men that usually don't see much playing time during the season. Danilo could increase the number of minutes he gets while Casilla may make his debut along with other homegrown players.

Inter knows it will have its hands full when facing the La Liga runner-ups. The Italian side is in a crisis where it has lacked any kind of title. They face a team whose coach knows them really well after the time he spent with Napoli and a team whose budget is much higher than theirs.

It is expected that the Italian side does not come out to cautious. The last thing they would like to do is let their opponents gain some ground and have them playing on their own third of the field. Possession will be important and it will most likely go Madrid's way, but being efficient in their shots could make a difference.

Incredibly enough, in head to head encounters, the Italian side leads the race with eight victories. Meanwhile, Real Madrid only has six when facing Roberto Mancini's side and three draws. Even with that stat taken into consideration, Madrid leads the way in betting houses, can they lead the way on the field as well?
