The Gunners will return to action, fresh of their BAT 2015 triumph, in the annual Emirates Cup competition.

In case you missed seeing Arsenal live in action, no worries, the Gunners will be returning to the pitch on Saturday to face Lyon in the annual Emirates Cup competition.

The two-day pre-season tournament kicks of this weekend, with the Gunners hosting the Ligue 1 giants in the second game of the day, before facing off against Bundesliga side Wolfsburg the following day.

The tournament will also hand Arsene Wenger’s crew a chance of winning a treble before even embarking on the English Premier League, having already clinched the BAT 2015, and the Community Shield clash with Chelsea drawing closer.

The cup, being held at the Emirates Stadium, will also see summer signing Petr Cch step into Arsenal’s home ground as a Gunner for the very first time, after completing his £11m switch to north London.

Arsenal will aim to lift the cup for the first time since 2010, and continue on their silverware resurgence after a nine-year trophy drought, but will face a stern test in the form of Les Gones.

The French side finished second in Ligue 1, led by lethal striker Alexandre Lacazette, coming very close to dispossessing PSG as champions, whilst also making a return to Champions League.

The 24-year-old goalscorer drew attention from many elite clubs after a tremendous 2014-15 campaign, one of them being Arsenal, after netting 30 goals for Hubert Fournier team.

However, their coach was adamant their star player will not be leaving the Stade de Gerland anytime soon. When asked where Lacazette will be playing the upcoming season, Fournier said:

"Olympique Lyonnais.

"I haven't got much to say. He has said he wants to stay with us.

"Of course some clubs are going to be attracted to the sort of player he is but he is under contract at Lyon and with all of the different competitions we have this season with the Champions League and the domestic French cups, we obviously want to keep him at the club."
