LA Galaxy vs Barcelona live streaming info, TV listings - July 21, 2015

July 19, 2015 By Oscar Casanova Perches
It is a game between the reigning champion of the MLS and the one from LA Liga. This will be Barcelona's first pre-season game while L.A. is in the middle of its season.

Without Neymar Jr. and Lionel Messi, Barcelona will kick-off their preseason in Pasadena, California against Steven Gerrard and the Los Angeles Galaxy. The game has already been sold out, so we can expect over 90,000 spectators in attendance at one of United States' most impressive venues.

The two Barcelona stars are still on vacation so Luis Enrique will have to start taking care of business without them for now. The Spanish club decided to extend the vacations of those players that were with their national teams during the Copa America like Claudio Bravo, Javier Mascherano and Dani Alves.

While it was announced that Arda Turán would not be able to play in official games with Barcelona, could be making his unofficial debut with Los Cules in this game. The former Atletico Madrid player is one of Barcelona's biggest signings over the summer. Bartomeu, the club's president won't hesitate on keeping him with the team.

Aleix Vidal, a new midfielder is also in the same situation as Turan. His official debut with Barcelona will have to wait until 2016, but his unofficial debut could be as soon as this Tuesday July 21. Luis Suarez is one of the biggest names in the roster that Barcelona is bringing to this three-game tour. The Uruguayan striker ended the past season with 16 goals in 27 games played.

L.A. Galaxy is one of the best teams in the Major League Soccer and they have just added Steven Gerrard to their roster and signing Giovanni dos Santos for after the Gold Cup is something that makes L.A. a strong candidate to repeat as the MLS Champions.

The American side started their participation in the International Champions Cup against Club America and won 2-1.  They had to come from behind after America took an early lead within the first 20 minutes of the game. Currently, L.A. Galaxy is sitting in second place of the Western Conference after 22 games.

The last time that both teams met was in 2009 and the La Liga Champions won 2-1. That was actually the only time both teams have played together. The rhythm that Galaxy is experiencing could be what gives them an advantage in the game.
