For the "Soca Warriors", things have been a lot better. After dispatching Guatemala in style, Sheldon Bateau's brace against Cuba helped them secure their place in the knockout stage for the second Gold Cup in a row, and if they are capable of earning one point, Stephen Hart's men will be winning their group for the first time in the tournament's history. Men like veteran striker Kenwyne Jones and Cordell Cato will carry much of the team's hopes to shock the Mexicans, with their speed and through ball skills being their choice weapons to hurt El Tri's defense.

Mexico has won 12 matches, drawn three and lost three more, but Herrera's men have never lost against the Caribbean squad in the North American tournament.
