Having joined Man United last season, the Argentine’s days at Old Trafford already appear numbered.

After a disappointing debut season in England, Angel Di Maria’s time at Manchester United appears to have already reached its end.

The Argentine superstar, who moved to Old Trafford for a British record fee of £59.7m last year, is being tipped with a move away from the 20-time English Premier League champions.

France is thought to be his most likely destination, as reports suggest Ligue 1 holders PSG are growing ever closer to striking a deal with the Red Devils for the former Real Madrid ace.

With Financial Fair Play sanctions against Les Parisiens being loosened, Laurent Blanc’s side are ready to spend big again in the transfer market, and are rumored to be willing to offer Manchester United £43m for Di Maria’s services.

PSG are also believed to have already planned a five-year contract for El Fideo, which will hand him a £200,000-a-week salary, as the club hope to sign in time for their US tour, though United are yet to sign off on any talks with the French side over a potential transfer.

The player himself is open to the prospect of staying at the Theatre of Dreams for another campaiggn and fighting for his spot in the team with the hopes of salvaging a future at the club, but favors a move abroad instead.

Furthermore, with the summer signings of Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin, and Memphis Depay, competition for a spot in the Manchester United midfield has grown, making a spot in the starting eleven that more difficult for Di Maria to tie down.
