Honduras has won four of their last five head-to-head games. Both teams have one point in Group A.

If Haiti deserved something against the United States was not to lose. Now, they face their last game of the group stage with a chance of getting past where the expectations had them, in the quarterfinals. To do so, they must get past Honduras, a team that claims to have the best coach in Concacaf, Jorge Luis Pinto.

Haiti created more chances against the defending champion of the Gold Cup but their lack of accuracy was what left them without a chance of defeating the United States. The home side had five shots on goal, their opposition left the game with three times more than them.

Marc Collat's side felt they deserved more than what they got against Jurgen Klinsmann and company. The German manager also felt sorry for the bad luck that Haiti had during the game. Now Collat and his team must win their third game.

They carry the confidence of good performance against Panama that was enough for a 1-1 tie, and that they were superior throughout the game despite losing against U.S.A. Their morale can be either devastated for not getting the results they deserve or growing by the minute after knowing they can compete against anyone.

In their last five games, Haiti has been able to win one, while Honduras has a 0-3-2 record in the same amount of games. When it comes to head to head matches, Haiti does not do so well. Honduras has won four out of their last five meetings. The last time that happened was in 2007 by 3-1.

Honduras has only been able to get one point in this competition and it came in a draw against Panama. Their performance is not getting as good as most expected with Jorge Luis Pinto in charge. He just took charge of the team and while he has already learned the national anthem, he has not made the team played the way he wants and loves.

Both teams need to win in order to get to the next round, a draw will hardly do any good for either team as the stand third and fourth in Group A. United States lead the group with six points and is in second with two. A win from Panama leaves both teams without a chance to clinch a spot in the next round.
