He is ahead of Fernando Llorente and Ciro Immobile as an option to fill the spot left by Bacca. Orlando City SC is also highly interested in the Mexican striker.

Javier Hernandez may be closer to staying in Spain than moving to the Major League soccer in the United States. Chicharito, who still belongs to Manchester United, is being analyzed by Sevilla's head coach Unai Emery.

Sevilla just won back-to-back Europa League titles and has subsequently punched its ticket to compete in the UEFA Champions League. The star of the past final was Carlos Bacca, but he has now left to play with AC Milan on a contract worth €30 million.

"We now have to find another Bacca," Emery told the Corriere dello Sport. "It’s not easy, but there are opportunities."

The void left by Bacca will be hard to fill

The options that the head coach, Emery is looking besides CH14 are Fernando Llorente and Ciro Immobile. The idea is to create a powerful offensive unit that can make an impact in Sevilla's return to the premier European competition.

"There is Chicharito, Immobile and other players that we are evaluating, like Llorente, though it will not be easy to get to him," Emery added. "But what’s important is the desire, not the age."

Chicharito finished one season in loan from Manchester United to Real Madrid. Despite his crucial performances that even earned Madrid a spot in the UCL semi-finals, Madrid decided to release him by the end of the season.

Immobile failed to make an impact in his debut season with Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga. At the same time, Llorente is not likely to stay with Juventus next season. It will be among those three that Sevilla will make its pick heading into the 2015-2016 season.

Liitle Pea could also find his future in Portugal with Benfica. The Portuguese League current champions have hi and Rafael da Silva as possible candidates to lineup for their team next year. 27-year-old Hernandez could have a good shot here as well. The Red Devils would be willing to trade him in order to get Nico Gaitan.
