Prior to the match against Paraguay, the former Barcelona manager believes La Albirroja will try to hold his team back rather than attacking them.

Coach Gerardo Martino will have to face his former team one more time when Argentina enters the pitch and takes on Paraguay. The former Barcelona coach implied that it will be tough for him, since he holds a special feeling for some of the players that he coached when he led Paraguay from 2006 until 2011.

"I would have preferred not to have played Paraguay. We have a lot of things in common, there are a lot of feelings. I worked there for a long time, we started and finished a process... the World Cup, the Copa America. There is a very close relationship. I trained many of those players and they helped me grow as a coach. They had a big influence in my career," Martino said.

The coach ellaborated on the team's chances of winning the game if they are faithful to what they displayed during the first half of the match against Paraguay, where his side went ahead 2-0. Furthermore, Martino refused to enter any controversy regarding the game's referee, given that Lionel Messi, Javier Mascherano and Sergio Agüero are one yellow card away of being handed a ban, which would prevent them from playing the final match.
