The female footballers use sarcasm and humor in the best way possible to mock the hate against women’s football.

We know all too well the stereotypes of women’s football. It’s boring, it’s not as exciting as the men, they cannot keep up with the opposing gender, they lack physically, etc...

We hear them way too often, and it has led to the sport constantly being overlooked.

But with the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup currently underway, in Montreal, the ladies have finally been garnering much awaited and deserved attention from the media and fans of the beautiful game.

And with the tournament currently in the play off stage, one side still competing for the trophy have decided to shred down stereotypes of women’s football by using humor and banter.

In a hilarious “mockumentary” produced by NRK, the ladies of the Scandanavian nation rip into the stereotypes by sarcastically embracing them, admitting they just don’t understand the rules of the game and that watching themselves play is just “sooo boring”. Check out the video and enjoy.
