Brazil is out to win its sixth U-20 World Cup after shattering records with its organized and effective game. The South Americans scored a total of 14 goals in the tournament, five of them in the semifinals against Senegal.

That match also marked its twentieth consecutive U-20 game without a loss, breaking Argentina’s record of 19. Marcos Guilherme was the player to watch, scoring two of the goals against Senegal. Serbia, for its part, emerged as the surprise revelation of the 2015 U-20 World Cup.

After losing only once in the first round (against Uruguay), the Serbs tied their regulation 90-minute games against the US in the quarterfinals and Mali in the semifinals, bouncing back to win on penalty kicks and in extra time, respectively. Ivan Sapojnic and Andrija Zivkovic may be the top scorers of the Serbian squad, but the star of the team is goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic, who saved the day a number of times in New Zealand.

Senegal went into the semifinals undefeated after two wins and one tie in the first round and as the only team to win in the quarterfinals without going into extra time. Mali lost only one of its games in the first round, against Serbia, the same team that went on to eliminate it in the semifinals. Mali has a lot to be proud of in this tournament, including a 3-0 shutout against Ghana and eliminating Germany on penalty kicks.
