The Spanish goalkeeper is set to make a move to his nation's capital with Real Madrid, and the current Ajax goalkeeper is the man Louis Van Gaal wants to cover his departure.

David De Gea's departure from Manchester United seems to be a matter of weeks, since the shot-stopper seems determined to go back to his home country. Meanwhile, The Red Devils have to keep working in case the Spanish player leaves them for good, and it seems like Louis Van Gaal will call up a familiar face to replace De Gea: Dutch goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen.

Reports from The Netherlands state that Cillessen, currently working for Ajax, would join United for an undisclosed fee. This would not be a surprise move, since Van Gaal knows the player quite well after working with him during last summer's World Cup. For those who don't remember, Cillessen was the shot-stopper Van Gaal replaced before the penalty shoot-out against Costa Rica, which ended up with the Dutch making it to the semi-finals.

The Dutch keeper was one of the best players in the recently concluded Eredivisie season, conceding only 38 goals in all competitions, which included UEFA Champions League games. He has won three Dutch championships with Ajax, and was the starting goalkeeper for The Netherlands during their third-place finish in Brazil.

While De Gea's future is sorted out, Van Gaal might want to sign a goalkeeper he can trust, adding Cillessen to a squad that already has Dutch players such as Daley Blind, Memphis Depay and Robin Van Persie, although the former Arsenal striker may change teams during the summer.
