The former Barcelona captain had an argument with the Brazilian winger when the team was celebrating the treble with all their fans.

Once he has left Barcelona, Xavi Hernández can speak freely about Neymar's attitudes. The former Blaugrana captain referred to an incident with the Brazilian striker during the treble celebrations this past Sunday. Hernández was annoyed by Neymar's actions, and he ended up slapping him on the head.

Xavi understands Neymar is young and he doesn't mean to hurt anyone, but not all fans look at his actions the same way he does.

"Neymar should really think about some of his actions on the pitch. I can totally relate to some plays, such as the one against Athletic in the Copa del Rey final, where some fans may find it offensive. Maybe those actions are not relevant in Brazil, but I can feel how some people may think it's disrespectful," Xavi said.

Hernandez hits Neymar on the head during the celebration parade this Sunday.

Nevertheless, Xavi believes that, with the right kind of guidance, Neymar could be one of the best in the business for many years to come.

"Neymar is a honest, humble and extraordinay human being. I'm sure that he will find the way not to irritate fans and opponents when he gets older. I assume that being Brazilian, this situation would go unnoticed, but he has to understand that he should show the great lad he is once you get to know him," Hernández added.
