One of the two teams invited from CONCACAF to participate in the upcoming edition of the Copa America is Jamaica. The Reggae Boys will have their debut in the competition that was first played in 1916. Winfried Schafer and his team will match against Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay in the group stage. Uruguay is the team with the most Copa America titles (15), Argentina has 14 and Paraguay two.
Jamaica is ranked 74th in the FIFA World Rankings. The team has moved up one spot from where they ended last year and six from 2013. Jamaica trails Costa Rica, Mexico, U.S.A, Panama and Trinidad and Tobago when it comes to the CONCACAF rankings. Along with Mexico, they will also play the Gold Cup this summer.
