TSN Adds Live Coverage of #CanWNT vs. England on May 29 at 7 p.m. ET, Marking the Team’s Final Friendly before the FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP CANADA 2015™

TORONTO (May 19, 2015) – TSN today announced it has added exclusive live coverage of the Canadian women’s national team’s international friendly against rivals England to the network’s schedule. Canada’s final tune-up takes place at Hamilton’s Tim Hortons Field on Friday, May 29 at 7 p.m. ET live on TSN – just eight days before the highly-anticipated FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP CANADA 2015™ kicks off on CTV, TSN, and RDS.

TSN’s exclusive live coverage of the friendly is led by play-by-play commentator Luke Wileman and analyst Clare Rustad, with Kara Lang contributing reports from field level.

Canada and England are both Top 10 teams in the FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking, at #8 and #6, respectively. The Canadian women’s national team recently faced off against England in the final of the 2015 Cyprus Cup on March 11, 2015, where England scored a 1-0 victory on a goal by striker Lianne Sanderson.

In addition to watching live broadcast coverage, TSN subscribers can also access live streaming and on-demand viewing of the Canada-England international friendly through TSN GO. French-language coverage of the Canada-England international friendly is available on RDS.
