The Welshman has been subject to many rumors surrounding his future, and he has told his agent he wants to know what will happen with him before he takes some days off.

Gareth Bale wants all those rumors to stop. The Welshman is tired of hearing about whether Real Madrid want to part ways with him or not, and he has asked his agent to clarify things with Los Blancos' boss, Florentino Perez. Sources in Spain indicate that Jonathan Barnett, who was recently under the spotlight after criticizing Real Madrid's players for not passing the ball to Bale, will hold a meeting with Los Merengues' president to know where his client will be playing next season.

Spanish journalists claim that Barnett needs a "clear and unequivocal message from Madrid", so that he may be able to negotiate his clients with such sides as Manchester United or Chelsea. While the club's future is uncertain, it could be just a matter of days before the team decides what to do, since there is no certainty about who will be coaching Los Blancos next season, and what are the new skipper's thoughts about the team and where they should buy more players.

Other sources think Bale's future is closer to England.

Meanwhile in the UK, sources indicate the meeting between Bale's agent and Perez turned out to rather friendly, with Real Madrid's boss stating the club wants to see their investment pay off. Bale signed a six-year contract with Los Blancos two years ago, becoming the most expensive player in football's history.

Bale's second season with Real Madrid hasn't been as good as expected, with the player being booed several times at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu for what they feel is a "lack of commitment" with the club, and also for not passing the ball to some of his team-mates, particularly, Cristiano Ronaldo. The Welsh wingman scored thirteen goals and assisted his colleagues nine times this season.
