The race for the Primeira Liga title is tighter than ever as Benfica take on Vitória Guimarães and Porto battle Belenenses on Sunday, May 17th. Read on to find live TV listings & online streaming choices for this Super Sunday of Portuguese football action courtesy of LiveSoccerTV.com.

As the season nears its conclusion in Europe's biggest leagues, this is an exciting time for many teams and their fans. Whilst some leagues - Serie A, the Premier League, and the Bundesliga - have already declared their winners, teams in others, including the Primeira Liga, La Liga, and Ligue 1 are still battling it out to be crowned domestic champions.

In Portugal, the title race has largely been between powerhouse duo Porto and Benfica, with the other "Big Three" member, Sporting Lisbon, fell well off the pace a while back and will have to settle for third. Although have the Águias have not dropped below first since seizing top spot in round five, they have had Porto hot on their heels in second place for the vast majority of this campaign. As such, Jorge Jesus' men, who despite disappointing in Europe have a good chance at some domestic silverware, as they not only lead the league but are also in the finals of the Taça da Liga.

The "Big Three" have all qualified for the Champions League but the league title race is still pending between Benfica and Porto

Dominant: Benfica have been on top of the Primeira Liga since round five and could seal the title with a win against Vitória de Guimarães later today

However, their opponents will not make it easy. The Branquinhos have performed well this season and have secured Europa League spot and in the past have even finished third - the most recent occurrence during the 2007/2008 season. With their devoted fan base that make them a serious contender for the fourth most supported club in Portugal, it will truly be a tense match as they again seek to disrupt things for the "Big Three" at the Estádio D. Afonso Henriques.

A win for the hosts would see them move within a point of derby rivals Braga, provided that they lose their match to Sporting. It would also be something Porto fans would hope for as they seek a late - and highly unlikely - surge to prevent Benfica from clinching their 34th league crown.

For Julen Lopetegui's side, the league title represents the only chance at any kind of trophies this season after their Champions League heartbreak and overall frustration in other domestic competition. There is that whopping eight goal differential between them and Benfica which means that the Dragões will not just need to win their last two games but also need their title rivals' opponents to comprehensively defeat them - all without allowing the the reigning champions to score.

Porto look set to finish the season without a single trophy after experiencing some highs and lows this campaign

With talismanic attacker Jackson Martinez set to leave this summer - with a move to England or Italy being mentioned in the press - fans will hope that the Colombian will again do what he does best as it was his brace that earned them all three points versus Gil Vicente last round.

Their upcoming opponents Belenenses are comfortably secure in mid-table but could make a late push for European football and overtake Paços de Ferreira by defeating a visiting Porto in front of their home fans. Historically, the odds do not look good for the hosts, as they have not beaten Porto at home since March 8, 2002.

It was also during that same 2001/2002 campaign that they actually completed a double over one of Portugal's biggest teams. Since then they have lost 15 out of their 19 league matches including a 3-0 thrashing in the reverse fixture earlier this season.

As this "Super Sunday" of action kicks off in Portugal, Porto will be hoping for Benfica to drop points as they seek to crush Belenenses in an effort to make up the goal difference. Meanwhile, Benfica will be giving it their all to make it a historic 34th league trophy.
