The German goalkeeper had a great influence in Barcelona's run during the first half, with key saves that kept his team's lead over Bayern.

Barcelona's Marc Andre Ter Stegen was highly praised for his performance during the game between his side and Bayern Munich. When things seemed to be taking a turn into the ugly, the German shot-stopper eased Barcelona's pain with a couple of saves that kept the score 1-1.

After Neymar's second goal, Ter Stegen again earned a round of applause following a double save to a shot by Robert Lewandowski, who failed to put the ball away from the goalkeeper with a right-footed strike. Ter Stegen cleared the ball when it was almost past the goal line, earning world-wide  praise for his skills. Ter Stegen has only allowed eight goals during this Champions League season with Los Blaugranas.

Here's what fans and experts had to say about the keeper's display against the Bavarians.
