The Colombian striker has struggled to make an impression this tournament, something he wants to change when they face Boca Juniors

Even though he has been struggling to score goals lately, Colombian Teófilo Gutiérrez remains as one of the top threats for Boca Juniors' unbeaten run in the Argentinian tournament. When the two sides meet on Sunday, Gutiérrez will try to take a stand for his team and silence all his critics, who have blasted him recently for his poor form, scoring only four goals in the country's Primera División tournament.

Coach Marcelo Gallardo rehearsed his Starting XI for the first Superclásico in 12 days, and Gutierrez will be in it. Following this game, both sides will meet again on Wednesday for the Copa Libertadores Round of 16, when Los Millonarios host Boca. One week later, Los Xeneizes will do the honors once again, in what seems to be an exciting series of games between the most followed teams in Argentina.

Considering this will be Gutierrez's first Superclásico playing at Boca's "Bombonera", the former Cruz Azul player had a pair of boots specially tailored for him, which he shared via his Instagram account. He also promised his fans he will give away his boots once the game is over.

River Plate currently holds the second place in the Argentinian tournament, just two goals behind Boca Juniors. Los Millonarios want to add some credibility to their project, and there's no better way for them to do it than beating their most-hated opponents.
