Former Manchester United boss believes that, up to this moment, Neymar could be the only one to challenge both players as the best in the world.

Legendary coach Sir Alex Ferguson spoke candidly about a variety of topics during an interview. The former Manchester United boss revealed which players he believes to be the best in whe world, while naming one that could end their dominance. According to Sir Alex, Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi put on a show that will never be forgotten, and he is still waiting for Neymar's talent to develop in order to be considered a possible heir to the throne.

"You'll always look at clubs like Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United to produce that kind of player you're talking about. But to be honest I'm not sure there's one sticking out at the moment. The boy Neymar gets a lot of publicity about the potential he's got, but I think that's still to be seen, still to be fulfilled. So hopefully he'll be the next one who'll produce the type of talent we see in Messi and Ronaldo," Ferguson stated.

"I wouldn't worry about Ancelotti's future"

Ferguson also spoke about Real Madrid's coach Carlo Ancelotti, who he believes to have been one of his toughest opponents ever. United's former boss said "Carletto" is used to perform under pressure, and his future would still be safe even if he is sacked by Los Blancos at the end of the season.

"Carlo is a top man, I was over at the Real Madrid game with Schalke and he was fantastic. I can't say enough about that man. He is top drawer, a fantastic human being and a great coach. I think these types of jobs are difficult, particularly if there are elections coming up. But, for me, Carlo is one of the best coaches I've ever come across and one of my biggest opponents, so I wouldn't worry about his future, that's for sure," Sir Alex added.
