U.S.A. has been outscored 1-11 in the second half since the World Cup. Switzerland is ranked 12th, the U.S. is back in 32nd.

There is no much time for the United States National Team to grief their loss against Denmark. Now they return to camp in Zurich to face Switzerland, an opponent that on paper looks even stronger.

The game will be played at Stadion Letzigrund on Tuesday, March 31. There were plenty of lessons learned from the 3-2 loss, which can be applied by Jurgen Klinsmann to prepare the upcoming match.

While Michael Bradley fared well in his first game as the captain of the national team, there were a few players that did not convince. Jozy Altidore and Aron Johansson were far to playing at the level many were expecting from them.

Altidore did end up scoring his 27th international goal of his career. What worries Klinsmann, is that he did not seem to work well with Johannsson. Each player seemed to be playing their own game when they needed to play as a unit.

United States has had a problem with scoring, especially in the second half. Ever since the World Cup, the U.S. has a 10-3 record in the first half and 1-11 record in the last 45 minutes when it comes to scoring. There is no balance in that aspect.

The Swiss team is currently 12th in the most recent list published by FIFA, just behind Spain. The team is tied with Slovenia and Lithuania in the Group E Qualifiers for the Euro 2016. United States is back in 32nd place.

Despite Xherdan Shaqiri latest muscular problems, coach Vladimir Petkovic has decided to include him in the list for the games against Estonia and the U.S. Against the later one, Switzerland has a positive record of 4-3-0.
