The Spanish midfielder stated they can't be too confident against the current Premier League champions, despite the advantage Los Blaugranas brought back from Etihad Stadium.

Andres Iniesta spoke to the media prior to tomorrow's match against Manchester City. Even though Los Blaugranas hold a 2-1 lead over the Citizens, Iniesta warned his team-mates not to be too confident of their chances of progression, since Pellegrini's men have a variety of players that can complicate the game tomorrow.

"We brought back a good result from the first leg, but we have to consider that we'll face Manchester City, and they have players that can shift the game's outcome either way. Even though we are playing very good football right now, they have very dangerous players that can surprise us if we don't take the match seriously," the midfielder stated.

"The game against City is more important than El Clasico"

With the all-important match against Real Madrid next weekend, Iniesta did not want to ellaborate about their upcoming game, but he believes Wednesday's clash could eventually be a good boost for their morale in order to win the duel against Los Blancos.

"Right now, the game against City is more important than El Clasico. We have to carry the weight of the game, make them run and have control of the ball. If we win tomorrow, there will be no higher motivation for us than getting closer to the final objective in the Champions League and facing one of our biggest rivals. We will give 200% in tomorrow's game to get in top shape for Sunday's match," Iniesta added.

Los Blaugranas can even lose the match against Manchester City with a 1-0 score and still earn a spot among the final eight teams.
