The Dragons dominated the match even after Danilo's injury, who clashed against his goalkeeper in the first half of the game.

FC Porto had no mercy and defeated FC Basel to secure their spot among Europe's top eight teams. The Portuguese side destroyed the opposition 4-0, getting praised by fans for their goal scoring ability.

The Dragons had everything going for them after Yacine Brahimi's first goal after 14 minutes, but their perfect run was somehow hurt after Danilo's injury, which forced him out of the pitch after crashing with his goalkeeper.

After the break, Mexican midfielder Hector Herrera curled beautifully a shot from outside the box to make it 2-0, making it almost impossible for the Swiss visitors to bounce back. With the game still in contention, Casemiro struck a massive free kick to give the Dragons an unsurmountable lead, while Vincent Aboubakar sealed the deal for the blue-and-white side after 76 minutes. With this win, Porto remains unbeaten this year in this competition, and reach the quarter final stage for the first time in six years.
