For the 17-year-old fan a lack of space in the train caused the problem. He believes the black man was a PSG fan.

Many people considered the fact that Chelsea’s fans did not allow a black man to get into the train prior to the Champions League game as racist. In the eyes of a Chelsea supporter who witnessed the scene, that was not the case on Tuesday night.

The fan named Mitchell McCoy explains that the train was full and that there were others who were not allowed in. Also, that the chant was directed towards Chelsea’s captain John Terry.

McCoy claimed the racist chant was for Chelsea's player The racist chant was about John Terry said the Chelsea fanMcCoy was one of around 40-50 Chelsea supporters were in the train. He had traveled to the French capital with five friends. At least for him, there was nothing racist about what happened in that train.

“He tried to get on and a few people were pushing him off because there wasn't much space on the carriage. You couldn't move,” the 17-year-old fan said.

There is another possible explanation based on that the man was a fan from the opposite team. Chelsea’s supporters were not going to let him in if that was the case.

'People were saying it was because he was black. It's not true at all. I personally think it's because he was a PSG fan.

The young fan was aware that the club he supports could take action to ban the fans on that train for future games. He believes he did nothing wrong, but did not deny the possibility of being accused.

“Of course we're concerned (about being banned). It wouldn't surprise me at all,” McCoy said. “But they ban you for anything."
