SURPRISE: Sir Alex Ferguson steps into unsuspected territory

For many years, Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho were big rivals when it came to facing each other in Manchester United vs Chelsea games. Ever since Ferguson stepped away from the Red Devils bench, both managers have continued a close relationship. 

News outlet Le Parisien, tweeted a picture of Ferguson outside the L'Hotel du Collectionneur where he reportedly met with his friends hours before the game between Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain. The same newspaper reported that the Special One had met with a distinguished guest, most likely to be his 73-year-old friend.

Sir Alex was not seen on Monday night at Deepdale since he was already in the French capital for a UEFA Meeting. In 2014, Ferguson was appointed Uefa's coaching ambassador and chairs meetings for Europe's 'elite' coaches.

Now that he has retired from coaching, he is constantly seen at Manchester United games. But seeing him talking with Chelsea's manager is not a common site. Did he give him any pointers on how to beat PSG in this Tuesday's Champions League game? We should wait and see.
