The agent stated that, if Manchester United don't pay his transfer fee this summer, the Colombian striker will keep playing in one of the 'top five or six' teams in the world.

Player agent Jorge Mendes spoke today about Radamel Falcao's up and coming season with Manchester United. Mendes believes his client would be doing a better job if he was handed more minutes by coach Louis Van Gaal, claiming that Falcao would be even better with the Red Devils if Sir Alex Ferguson still coached them.

"Falcao is a champion. At Manchester, I miss Ferguson because he is Manchester United and he has given a lot to this club. With Ferguson and this same squad the situation would be different. I feel sorry with myself because I know Falcao and I know that if he is handed five consecutive full games, I am convinced he will score in almost every game, because he is very good," Mendes reflected.

Falcao has played sixteen games for Manchester United, scoring four goals and only playing 90 minutes in three of those games. His performance with the Red Devils has been rather disappointing for fans, who had high hopes for a player with a buyout clause of 43 million pounds.

In fact, Mendes can't understand why team coach Louis Van Gaal does not give the Colombian striker more minutes, even when he is showing his class on the pitch. Taking that into consideration, the agent believes Falcao García will eventually regain his form, whether it happens with the Red Devils or with another team.

"Recently he was being the best player of the match and after 70 minutes... there are things I don't want to discuss further. Falcao will find his way. If next season he doesn't stay at Manchester, he will be in one of the top five or six best teams in the world,"Mendes added.

Manchester United execs have to decide if they want to keep Falcao around when this season ends, but his future at Old Trafford does not seem to be quite brilliant when his coach has repeatedly questioned his performances.
