With three tickets to the U-20 World Cup at stake, watch the top South American teams battling for a chance to represent their countries in the international arena.

With Argentina and Uruguay leading the pack, the defining moments of the U-20 South American tournament will be played on Wednesday. The Albicelestes and Los Charruas share the top spot with seven points, followed by Colombia with five and Brazil just one point behind, with each and everyone of the teams having hopes of qualifying to this category's World Cup to be held in New Zealand.

Besides being able to earn a spot in the global tournament, the champion will have the privilege of representing South American football in the Olympics of 2016, while the second place will fight for an Olympic spot against a team from CONCACAF.

Brazil, who lost their previous match against Argentina, desperately need a win against Peru if they pretend to maintain chances of winning the tournament. If La Canarinha loses again, their place in the World Cup would be in jeopardy, since they will play their final match against Colombia. The Peruvian team have not earned any points, and their goal should be that of not ending the tournament in last place.

The second scheduled game will have Argentina playing against Paraguay. The Argentinians need only one point to assure their presence in the upcoming World Cup, while the Paraguayans will try to repeat their 1-0 victory over La Albiceleste to keep their hopes alive.

The third match promises to add drama to the group's definition, having hosts Uruguay playing against Colombia, two of the most exciting teams in the tournament. Uruguay only need one point to earn a World Cup spot, but the Colombians will be a tough team to beat, since their Under Age categories usually display magnificent football.
