The German World Cup winner's move away from Stamford Bridge looks all but guaranteed, yet Wolfsburg claim no agreement has been reached with Chelsea.

It may not be official yet, but this deal is all but complete. After days of heavy speculation, Bundesliga side Wolfsburg look to have finalized the signing of World Cup winner Andre Schurrle from Chelsea on transfer deadline day. The player was named in the mandatory DFL transfer list ahead of any official announcement, which was revealed via the Bundesliga's Twitter account.

The 24-year-old former Bayer Leverkusen striker, who joined the Blues for £18m back in 2013, will follow suit of Kevin De Bruyne to depart Stamford Bridge for the Volkswagen Arena in search of regular football after failing to nail a spot in the starting eleven.

However, despite this, Wolfsburg's Klaus Allofs insists that no agreement has been reached with the Blues, but claims that personal terms have been reached, as reported by Sport Witness via Twitter.

Schurrle, once a key figure in the west London side's squad, saw himself fall down the pecking order due to the arrival of Spanish duo Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas.

Die Wölfe, who recently thrashed league holders Bayern Munich 4-1 on Friday, will hope their latest acquisition will help them keep up in the title race and secure a Champions League spot.

News of Schurrle's move to Wolfsburg picked up pace as rumors emerged that Jose Mourinho was keen on cashing in on the German in order to fund a move for Colombian ace Juan Cuadrado. However, as reported by ESPN FC, the deal for the Fiorentina ace will go down to the wire.

If Cuadrado completes a switch to Chelsea, expect Egyptian star Mohamed Salah to head the other way on loan with La Viola.
