The Italian club is willing to make a bid for Real Madrid's Number 14, but Los Blancos want to keep him around for any contingencies.

Even though Carlo Ancelotti is delighted by his commitment and his influence among the rest of the players, Javier Hernandez has enjoyed practically no playing time with Los Blancos. Nevertheless, the Mexican still raises interest in some of the top European teams, with Italian side Lazio stating their intentions on signing "Chicharito".

The team led by Claudio Lotito want to add the Mexican striker to their squad, but Real Madrid's answer left no room for speculation: Chicharito wil stay. According to sources, Ancelotti and the team's execs are aware that the player, loaned by Manchester United, could be quite useful in case of an injury to their powerful BBC trio. Furthermore, with CR7's current ban, the Mexican is expected to take part of some of the team's upcoming games against Real Sociedad and Sevilla.

On the other hand, "El Chicharito" is quite happy living in Madrid, but he has stated he wants to play consistently. So far, the Mexican striker has started just five games, earning 509 minutes along the way. His last appearance came on Real Madrid's 2-1 defeat against Valencia.

Real Madrid's intentions are leaning toward keeping the player, whose non-European status also complicates his departure.
