Tottenham Hotspur Coach Harry Redknapp has voiced out his joy ahead of Spurs’ Champions League play-off encounter against Switzerland’s Young Boys tonight.

Tottenham Hotspur Coach Harry RedknappThe former Portsmouth manager, who beat Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United to lift the 2008 FA Cup trophy as a Pompy boss, expressed his emotions to the media. He stated:

“It’s great to be here, like every Saturday when you walk out in the Premier League, and you go to Old Trafford, or you go to Anfield. It’s a great feeling just to be involved every week.

“I love it when I come abroad like this in Europe. It’s fantastic, it’s exciting, and it’s good for Tottenham obviously.

“They’ve waited a long time for the chance to play in the Champions League. It’s a really good opportunity for us now, and one that we want to take.”

Tottenham Hotspurs have one point in the English Premier League following their goalless draw against Manchester City which opened the season. Scoring an away goal will be vital for Spurs who were certainly unlucky against the Sky Blues last weekend.

However, the London side will have to do without the services of midfielder Jermaine Jenas and defender Ledley King. The English pair is out through injury. Ledley King is suffering from a knee problem while Jermaine Jenas is yet to recover from a calf strain.

Jamie O'Hara, Jonathan Woodgate, and David Bentley have also been ruled out from Tuesday night's Champions League encounter against the Young Boys of Switzerland. The trio is working on their fitness. Adding to Harry Redknapp's headache is the fact that his team will have to play on an artificial pitch.

The first leg of the Young Boys vs Tottenham Hotspur match kicks off at 14:45 EST. Get more info about this UEFA Champions League fixture on the Young Boys vs Tottenham Hotspur Live Streaming and TV Schedule page.
