Guinea were the 11th team to qualify for CAN 2015, finishing as runners up to Ghana in Group E with 10 points. They started on a bright note, beating Togo at home by a score line on 2-1. Their highest point during the qualification campaign was their 4-1 return leg win over Togo. Their lowest was the 3-1 away leg drubbing at the hands of eventual Group E winners Ghana.
