With a header by Danny Welbeck, the Gunners keep their UEFA Champions League hopes alive after defeating a complicated home team side.

After their loss against Manchester United last week, Arsenal could not afford giving away more points this week. Arsene Wenger's team had a tough match against West Bromwich Albion, but managed to go home with a big win for them.

Arsenal enjoyed several chances to score in the first half of the game. Alexis Sanchez, Danny Welbeck and Santi Cazorla were among those who shot on goal but missed to open the score for the Gunners. West Brom showed their defensive skills and practically had no opportunities to go ahead on the scoreboard.

After the halftime break, it took Arsenal fifteen minutes to score what would prove to be the only goal of the game. Santi Cazorla dribbled his way to the goal line to put a magnificent cross, which Danny Welbeck headed into the back of the net. Arsene Wenger's men had a few chances before the game ended, and even had the opportunity to score late in the game, when WBA pulled their goalie in a corner kick, desperately looking for the equalizer.

With this victory, Arsenal hold the fourth spot in the English Premier League, waiting for Manchester United's game vs Hull City. On the other hand, West Brom remain in the thirteenth spot with 13 points in the same amount of matches.
