The Blancos manager appears to be satisfied with the current players at his disposal

La Liga giants Real Madrid will not pursue any new signings when the January transfer window swings open, hinted Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti.

The 10-time Champions League winner, led by two-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, French striker Karim Benzema, Welsh ace Gareth Bale, and summer acquisitions James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos are flying in the Spanish Primera Divison, as well as on the European stage.

Currently first-placed in the Liga BBVA, Real Madrid are yet to welcome young Spanish forward Jese Rodriguez back to the squad after his serious knee injury last season, a player the Italian coach described as their “ winter signing”, revealing that the 21-year-old could return from injury next month.

"Jese is our winter signing," Ancelotti said on Al Primer Toque. "He could play in the next month."

The former AC Milan boss' comments though were not only confined to his own, speaking out about Barcelona defender Gerard Pique's situation at Camp Nou.

The Spanish center-back was dropped from the starting eleven for the Catalan giants' last three encounters after he was seen using a mobile phone while on the bench during a game, but this is an action Ancelotti insists he wouldn't have punished Pique for.

"I wouldn’t punish a player for using his mobile phone on the bench. I believe in discipline but there are things I don’t think should be resolved with punishment, but with talking and explaining.

"Players are intelligent people and I don’t think Pique has been left out because of that."
