The Juventus striker will play again for his National squad after being left out of the last World Cup by ex coach Alejandro Sabella.

After a three year absence, Argentinian striker Carlos Tevez will play once again for his National Team. One of the best players in the Italian Serie A will return with La Albiceleste after being called up by coach Gerardo Martino.

Tevez played his last game with Argentina in the summer of 2011, when the South American nation hosted the Copa America. There, La Albiceleste lost a penalty shootout against Uruguay, who would end up winning the tournament. Tevez was harshly criticized and accused of not following orders by then coach Sergio Batista, and was rumored to have a difficult relationship with Barcelona's superstar Lionel Messi.

When coach Alejandro Sabella took the coaching job, one of his first moves was that of excluding Tevez of any calling up, so "El Apache" focused on playing with Juventus. Last year, Tevez became Serie A's top scorer, and was praised by his home country's journalists, but Sabella refused to call him up for this summer's World Cup.

Coach Martino tried to call the player up for their October friendly matches, but Tevez was not available at the time. Now, "El Apache" will return for their November friendlies against Croatia and Portugal.

Martino also called up Manchester City's Willy Caballero, who was also left out of the National Team that played in Brazil last summer, along some of the recurrent players such as Lionel Messi, Angel Di Maria and Gonzalo Higuaín.
