Bayern Munich's center back stated he wants to become a German citizen, since his days defending the "Verdeamarelha" are over for sure

After Brazil's disappointing World Cup, Bayern Munich defender Dante believes his days with the National Team have come to an end. If things go as planned by the Brazilian center back, he will request the German citizenship and live the rest of his life there.

"I don't think I'll ever be called up again. I fulfilled my dream of being in a World Cup, even though that dream ended up in a nightmare. Either way, I believe I should focus on my team and my individual goals," Dante stated in an interview.

The former Borussia Moenchengladbach player revealed he had a hard time overcoming their 7-1 defeat against Germany, especially because of some of his friends that tried to mock him for it:

"There were some people in Munich that thought I would be willing to joke around that defeat. Normally I have a good sense of humor, but with those guys my patience does not exist," Dante added.

The Brazilian ellaborated on his intentions of becoming a German citizen, saying he is pretty comfortable in the European country:

"After seven years here, I think I can apply for the citizenship. I would love to live here after my playing days are over, and I'm up to the challenge of taking that test," Dante concluded.
