Belgium will start their UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying campaign against minnows Andorra. Belgium's group consists of Cyprus, Wales, Israel and Bosnia and Herzegovina. This group will not be as easy to negotiate as some might think or Belgium. It consists of the exact kind of opponents Belgium does not like. The Belgians found it difficult to break down compact defences in the World Cup and they will be facing plenty of such defences in this group.
The last time Andorra and Belgium faced off was in Euro 2004 qualifying. The Belgians unsurprisingly won both meetings. They won the home meeting, 3-0 and the away meeting, 1-0. Andorra has already started their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign. They took on Wales on opening day and led by a goal thanks to Ildefons Lima's sixth minute penalty. Unfortunately for them, two goals from Wales' talisman, Gareth Bale, turned the game on its head. Andorra is yet to collect even a single point from 41 matches in Euro qualifying.
Belgium has not featured in a competitive match since their exit in the World Cup following a loss against Argentina. Their first qualifier against Israel was cancelled because of security problems.
