Las Aguilas have one more match before the knockout stage against Guatemalan side Comunicaciones

Perhaps the only subject that wasn't approved by Miguel Herrera during his stint as Club America's coach was achievinginternational success. Last year, las Aguilas were eliminated in the Group Stage of CONCACAF Champions League with Herrera at the helm, and it was one of the most important tasks Antonio Mohamed's staff had to undertake: advancing the team into the knockout stage. Yesterday, the current leader at the Apertura 2014 tournament staged the all-time greatest scoring fest at CONCACAF Champions League.

Club America thrashed FC Bayamon with a score of 10-1, the highest scoring fiesta ever recorded at the regional tournament. With hat-tricks by Luis Gabriel Rey and Martin Zuñiga, las Aguilas ended the first half with a 6-0 lead, also establishing a record for most goals before halftime.

"With Martin Eduardo Zuñiga's goal, Club America has set a new historic record at CCL, scoring six goals in one half."
