Just after last Saturday's friendly against Chile, Mexican coach Miguel Herrera was informed his squad would be short on men for this night's friendly against Bolivia

Not everything's good news for Mexico's National Team. With one game pending in their North American tour, Miguel Herrera has seen his squad cut short, following injuries to three of his starters last Saturday against Chile.

Francisco Rodriguez, the former PSV Eindhoven and Stuttgart player, came down with an injury to his left leg, which will keep him off the pitch for at least two weeks. "El Maza" became a key player for coach Herrera in the past World Cup, playing every single minute Mexico had during the tournament.

Juan Jose Vazquez fractured one of his fingers while trying to block a shot that was headed straight to his face. The Leon midfielder, who was sought out by AS Roma and other European sides after his outstanding performance in Brazil, will probably have to go under surgery to fix his hand, pending an examination with his club's physician. His recovery time is yet to be determined.

To make matters worse, Giovani Dos Santos couldn't finish the game against the Chileans, coming down with an injury that will take four weeks to heal. The Villarreal striker will have to endure his time off the pitch as his club faces European competitions.

With very little time to substitute the players, coach Herrera opted to face tonight's match with a 15 player roster, hoping there are no more injuries to a depleted Mexican side.
