On September 9, the Czech Republic and The Netherlands start their Euro 2016 run with hopes of turning around their latest results.

After almost nine years of their last official meeting, Czech Republic will host The Netherlands in the UEFA Euro 2016 qualifiers. As Group A gets on its way, both sides have to solve different issues surrounding their last outings, so their fans can be pleased later on with a qualifying bid for the tournament.

The Czech arrive to this match having lost their four previous matches under coach Pavel Vrba. Having lost their last friendly match against the U.S.A., Vrba's men will try to earn a win relying on experienced players such as goalkeeper Petr Cech and Tomas Rosicky, who need to step up and take the Czech back to their glory days. Being unable to win lately, coach Vrba spoke about what is wrong with his crew:

"We have created more chances than our opponents, but we have wasted too many of them. Some phases of our games are nice to watch, but not converting chances is our weakness and our opponents then punish us," he stated.

On the other half of the pitch, coach Guus Hiddink will be looking for solutions to the team's issues, starting with the absence of top performers such as Arjen Robben and Rafael Van der Vaart, both unavailable due to injuries. Hiddink began his new term as Dutch head coach with a loss against Italy 2-0, so this new outing comes in handy to turn things around.

This is the first time in nine years both sides will meet in an official match, playing against each other for the last time on October 8, 2005, with the Dutch earning the victory with a 2-0 final result.
