Last season, reigning champions Juventus not only successfully retained their Scudetto title but also set a new record in Italian football by becoming the first side to achieve more than 100 points in a campaign. However, much has changed at the Turin side, with coach Antonio Conte resigning to eventually move on to manage the Italian national squad and former Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri stepping in.
Milan themselves have undergone some changes as well, with players like Kaka leaving and also making some modifications on the tactician's bench, with two former players replacing each other. After leaving the Rossoneri in 8th place, Clarence Seedorf was sacked, with Filippo Inzaghi taking over for this season.
As for the runners up, the 2013-2014 season was one to remember for Roma as they started off the season with an impressive 10 match unbeaten run before stumbling to their first stalemate against Torino. And while the Giallorossi were unable to keep pace with the Bianconeri once they kicked into another gear, fans will be pleased to see their team back in the Champions League after several seasons without European football.
