Unfortunately, Burch’s goal wasn’t enough for Colorado as the Galaxy completed a comeback in the 80th minute.

It was a breathtaking match between Colorado Rapids and LA Galaxy on Wednesday night at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. Both clubs were looking for a victory in order to move up in the Western Conference table and they made sure to give their best effort to earn the three points.

One goal that definitely left the fans impressed was the one from Colorado’s defender Marc Burch in the 30th minute. The 30-year-old player blasted the ball in Penedo’s goal from a 25-yard free kick. The ball went over the wall and hit the crossbar before getting in. The former Seattle Sounders defender scored his first goal for Colorado Rapids after joining the club for the 2014 MLS season.

The Colorado Rapids had a 3-1 advantage and the game under control until the 55th minute when Galaxy’s defender Omar Gonzalez headed in a free kick from Landon Donovan. After that, Alan Gordon equalized in the 68th minute with a quality finish inside the box before Landon Donovan completed the comeback with a cross-shot with 10 minutes to go before the final whistle.

Final result was Colorado Rapids 3-4 LA Galaxy.
